“Wadi al-Oyoun” the Magic of Nature

“Wadi al-Oyoun” is a tourist attraction for Syrians . Visitors come for the area’s scenery , including the numerous springs, waterfalls and the greenery, which heavily covers the rocks and the floors of the area..

A distinguished feature- the waterfall of Wadi al-Oyoun is a place where   visitors’ can touch and play in the waterfall and climb its rocks.

Head of  Wadi al-Oyoun municipality Hasan Abbas told   SANA  that the town of Wadi al-Oyoun is the center of a sub-district of  Masyaf region, indicating that the town and the valley in which it lies, on the highway of Masyaf-Tartous,  is known for its numerous   springs – 360 in total, from which Wadi al-Oyoun receives its name.

Abbas underscored that Wadi al-Oyoun is a wonderful vacationing and tourism region in which encompasses all services that encourage  tourists, pointing out that the town is distinguished by its famous castle, which was a place for many tourists to enjoy the beauty of the town’s mountains, which are covered with oak trees, rice, shrubs and woods, in addition to a number of animals such as deer, foxes, reptiles and rare birds.

 For their parts, residents of Wadi al-Oyoun, who  seized the opportunity of quarantine period, stressed that they spend their days amid the beauty of their picturesque nature, where flowering olive groves, green magic and roses paint the most beautiful scenes in the town.

They  stressed that located in the heart of a fascinating nature and close to human habitation areas, Wadi al-Oyoun is one of the most beautiful destinations in the country, wishing for the return of normal life to the town(as it was full of visitors), after the end of the epidemic Coronavirus.
