Damascus (ST) – The Ministry of Religious Endowments announced the opening of mosques for Friday Prayers only as of next Friday according to certain health regulations.
The statement released by the Ministry said that the mosques will open next Friday May 8 for Friday Prayers while other prayers in mosques will continue to be suspended temporarily.
The Ministry suspended Friday Prayers and other prayers in all mosques in Syria temporarily on March 15 because gatherings increase the possibility of the spread of the Corona virus pandemic.
