In light of the policies of Erdogan’s failed regime.. Turkish trade is declining again, and the deficit is widening
Ankara,(ST)-Data published by the Ministry of Trade of the Turkish system showed that the trade deficit widened in April by 13.4 percent year on year to reach $ 3.4 billion.
“The imports fell 32.2 percent to 11.84 billion dollars, while exports fell 41.6 percent to 8.44 billion dollars last month,” Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in statistics released today.
The economic and political setbacks that plague Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s regime continue to deepen his crises, as the Turkish currency lost more than 3.5 percent of its value this year after it fell about forty percent during the past two years as a result of high levels of foreign debt for Turkey in light of its reckless economic policies.
