Egyptian forces eliminate 18 terrorists in North Sinai

On May 3, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced the elimination of 18 terrorists around of the town of Bir al-Abd, North Sinai.

 Al-Ahram Gate website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that it had killed 18 terrorists in an exchange of fire when targeting their hatch around  the town of Bir al-Abd in North Sinai, as well as seizing 13 automatic guns , 3 explosive devices and two explosive belts.

 On April 30, a number of Egyptian army soldiers were killed and wounded when an explosive device exploded in a military armored vehicle south of the town  of Bir al-Abed.
