European Parliament: The continued imposition of coercive measures on Syria and other countries is terrible and inhuman
Prague,(ST)-Member of the European Parliament for the Slovak Republic Milan Uhrik denounced the continued imposition of unilateral coercive measures on Syria and other countries such as Iran, Cuba and Venezuela at this difficult time in which the spread of the Coruna virus is being tackled, describing it as “a terrible and inhuman matter”.
Uhrik stressed in a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague today that the Corona epidemic revealed in a clear way the lie of Western slogans about solidarity and cooperation, stressing that the major western countries continue to work to achieve their selfish interests despite the circumstances that require benefiting from this crisis with other countries and cooperation with them.
Uhrik pointed out that the unilateral coercive economic measures and the unjust siege imposed by Western countries on Syria constitute an unforgivable crime and a continuation of the aggression and terrorism that it has been exposed to for more than nine years, calling for lifting them immediately.
