“Unbreakable Woman” a novel Highlighting Syrian Woman’s role during the war on Syria

  Syrian women have proved during the nine-year war against Syria that each one of them is Khansaa of the century because of their steadfastness, patience and determination to bring up a generation on national values, on strong will and on steadfastness.

The novel “unbreakable woman” by the author Naboogh Asaad, sheds light on the key role of Syrian woman during the war on Syria and their steadfastness in confronting terrorism.

 The  novel, which was issued  recently by “Akl” for publishing and Translation, came in a spontaneous manner in which the elements of the novel  converged with the experiences that the author witnessed during the crimes carried out  by the terrorists in the country.

The novel confirms that the woman in Syria did not allow her social and physiological status to weaken her position in the face of terrorism and conspiracy.

Syrian women sought to boost their role as key partners of the government in alleviating the repercussions of the crisis on the Syrians through different means.

  Syrian women have sacrificed a lot during the crisis with many of them losing their loved ones, including parents, husbands, and children, yet they never stopped playing a key role in defending the homeland and supporting the army in its battle against takfiri terrorism.

The author Asaad highlighted to SANA that in her novel, Syrian woman loves her country more   than the son, husband, companion and beloved as she sacrifices everything but dignity.

Asaad highly appreciated the Syrian woman’s political, educational, and cultural role to express her awareness,  deep-rooted civilization, and what she inherited from her ancestors throughout history including  Julia Domina,  Zanobia and Khansaa.

Despite the fact that the crisis spawned new cases of violation against women that were carried out by terrorists, the Syrian women have expressed solidarity with their beloved Syria, which has been passing through hard circumstances because of the foreign-backed terrorist war on the country..

Head of “Akl” Publishing house the researcher Abeer Akl, said that the author of the novel managed to shed light on the specificity of the relationship with the country in an attractive literary style, opening the doors of hope for love and tolerance to build the person who the war tried to destroy.
