Syrian Air Defenses confront Israeli missile attack over Damascus countryside

Damascus, (ST) – Syrian Air Defenses at dawn today intercepted Israeli missiles crossing over from Lebanese territories, towards Syrian territories and destroyed most of the missiles before reaching their goals.

A military source said in a statement to SANA that the Syrian air defenses confronted at around4:55 p.m. today an Israeli attack. Israel launched a group of missiles from over southern Lebanon, targeting Syrian territories, and our Syrian air defenses immediately confronted the enemy missiles and shot down most of the missiles before reaching their targets.

The source added that the damage from the missiles, was limited to some material losses, without any human casualties.
