Al-Sweida civil activities: Sultan Pasha al-Atrash, leader of the Great Syrian Revolution, is a national symbol for all Syrians

On the occasion of Independence Day, civil activities have organized a national rally in front of the Governorate HQ’s in honor of the leader of the Great Syrian Revolution Mujahid Sultan Pasha al-Atrash.

On April 21, participants praised Sultan Pasha al-Atrash’s national role and his “mujahideen” comrades in fighting and defeating the Ottoman and French occupations .

Participants in the rally raised the Syrian flags and sang national songs and walked from the Municipality’s Stadium to the Governorate HQ’s, where two posters of President Bashar al-Assad and Mujahid Sultan Pasha al-Atrash were raised at the entrance. 

 

Governor of As-Suwayda confirmed that Sultan Pasha al-Atrash is a shining example for all Syria and Arabs.

The Governor said: “ We have been educated since we were young in schools that the Great Syrian Revolution’s leader is Sultan Pasha al-Atrash and his fellow revolutionaries in various governorates from Saleh Al-Ali, Ibrahim Hanano, Ahmad Marioud, Youssef al-Azma and other mujahidin leaders.

The Governor stated that the Independence was a great occasion  made by the Syrian revolutionaries and their Mujahideen, led by Sultan Pasha al-Atrash, indicating that the blood of our martyrs was a glowing beacon till today.
