Cuban analyst: Washington must lift the coercive measures it imposes on Syria

Havana,(ST)-Cuban political analyst Leonilo Nodal stressed that the United States must stop its illegal interventions in Syria and lift the unfair coercive measures imposed on it.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cuba, Nodal said that the United States interfered illegally in Syria and sent its forces into its territory without the Syrian government requesting that, while intentionally stealing Syrian oil that is illegally extracted from the eastern regions of the country, which raises condemnation.

Nodal pointed out that the Syrian people for nearly ten years have  faced a terrorist war, external interference, and the administration of Donald Trump which during the spread of the Corona global epidemic continues to impose unfair economic measures on it and thereby prevents the arrival of the necessary materials, medicines and medical equipment to help the Syrian government in dealing with this global epidemic.
