Al-Maqt: Independence Day anniversary enhances values of steadfastness and heroism

Quneitra (ST): The dean of the Syrian and Arab detainees, released captive Sedqi al-Maqt affirmed that the independence anniversary enhances in us the values of struggle, heroism and victory advocated by our grandfathers in confrontation of the French occupation, and motivates us to show more steadfastness and adherence to land until the liberation of the occupied Syrian Golan.
In a letter he sent from his house in Majdal Shams town in the occupied Syrian Golan on the 74th anniversary of the Independence Day, Al-Maqt renewed Golan the people of the Golan’s adherence to the Syrian Arab identity and their determination to press ahead with their struggle against all forms of Judaization and racist practices of the Israeli occupation authorities.
He added that on this occasion, we remember the great heroes of national struggle,  greeting the heroes of the Syrian Arab army who are following in the footsteps of their ancestors in their battle against terrorism and its supporters.
