Youth Paintings reflect the precautionary measures taken to tackle Coronavirus.

The calls for staying at home did not affect a group of young plastic artists, so they created a new solution to face this imposed reality and raising public awareness to prevent the spread of infection with the coronavirus.

The young people draw paintings that reflect the quarantine period and Coronavirus, some are painted in a serious style while other are painted in a comical style. They are displayed on social media and through their personal accounts and pages.

Khider al-Salem, a young artist of this group, said in a statement to SANA that “the quarantine period that we live in must be invested in drawing to express our feelings and talents. Drawing is one of the forms of purposeful arts and constitutes a state of awareness among people” he added.

Another artist, Sara Hassoun, mentioned that these paintings developed her talent, due to the free time which allowed her to execute and check her paintings in an artistic way.
