We didn’t use chemical weapons; we cannot use it, it’s impossible to be used in our situation for many reasons….when you’re advancing, why would you use chemical weapons?!, underscored President Bashar Al-Assad on December 9, 2019.
In his interview with RAI News 24, His Excellency added that this is a weapon of mass destruction, you talk about thousands of dead or at least hundreds. That never happened, never – you only have these videos of staged chemical weapons attacks.
In the recent report that you’ve mentioned, there’s a mismatch between what we saw in the video and what they saw as technicians or as experts. The amount of chlorine that they’ve been talking about: first of all, chlorine is not a mass destruction material, second, the amount that they found is the same amount that you can have in your house, it exists in many households and used maybe for cleaning and whatever.
That’s what the OPCW organization did – they faked and falsified the report, just because the Americans wanted them to do so. So, fortunately, this report proved that everything we said during the last few years, since 2013, is correct. We were right, they were wrong. This is proof; this is concrete proof regarding this issue.
OPCW recently stated about Ltamenah incident that chemical weapons have been used or likely used in Syria according to an investigation by the organization: there are reasonable grounds to believe a chemical was used in the attacks, based on a personal opinion by unidentified member of a military experience of the team!
Syria, on April 9, officially condemned in the strongest terms, what has come in the report of the illegitimate so-called Investigation and Identification Team, and rejects what has been included in it, in form and content.
Syria categorically denies using toxic gases in Ltamenah town or in any city or village, and affirms that the Syrian Army has never used such weapons in the most difficult battles carried out against armed terrorist organizations.
In the meantime, Russia stated that the authors of the report, and consequently the leaders of the OPCW Technical Secretariat, have thus become accomplices in the consistent violation of the basic principles and procedures of objective and unbiased investigations.
The information propagated-for in the said report were gathered mostly from anti-government armed and terrorist groups and pseudo-humanitarian NGOs affiliated with them, including the notorious White Helmets.
With such a tsunami of lies and fabrications, Ian Henderson’s recent conclusions after investigating Douma site, that there was a ‘higher probability that both cylinders were manually placed … rather than being delivered from aircraft’ should be revisited.
Mr. Henderson, , a veteran OPCW inspector and specialist chemical engineer with military experience, stored a copy of his research findings when it became apparent his work would be excluded from the final report. Is this OPCW more than a means of exploitation and a trap by supporters of terrorism as to prolong the ongoing war?!
