Zakharova: OPCW’s report about Syria is misleading & fabricated

Moscow, (ST):  Spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the latest report of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) about Syria includes mistakes and contradicts the international law, noting that it was fabricated by Western orders.

In a press conference, Zakharova said that the report includes misleading,  fabricated and false conclusions with the aim of  forging facts and accusing the Syrian government of the incident, noting that the report  depended on information and data given from the White Helmets terrorist organization.

She added that the authors of this report are partners in the systematic violation of the OPCW work and procedures which include sending experts to the location of the incident and conducting objective investigations, stressing that the writers of the report did not visit the targeted places, but they depended on premeditated information given by terrorist organizations backed by the West.

Earlier, Syrian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the report of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) about using toxic materials in Ltamenah town in 2017 is misleading and  included false and fabricated conclusions.

Meanwhile, Zakharova affirmed  that the terrorists in the de-escalation zone of Idleb were determined to press ahead with  violence,  referring to their continued attempts to foil the work of the joint observation patrols of the so-called safe corridor along M4 road..

In another development, Zakarova said that the biggest hazards regarding the spread of the Corona virus in Syria lie in the areas occupied by the US and its allies.
