Mnin town in Damascus countryside was put under total lockdown after the death of a woman, who was diagnosed with coronavirus.
There followed a wide cleaning and disinfection campaign by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent ( SARC ) throughout the streets and public facilities in the town in cooperation with Damascus countryside governorate.
The SARC volunteers distributed relief aid to the people at their homes, in order to avoid overcrowding and protect them against COVID-19
SARC stressed the necessity for the people of the town to stay at home and to follow up the health ministry’s instructions aimed at keeping them and their families safe.
It is noteworthy to mention that SARC is committed to the preventive measures and continues providing the primary health care services, all over Syria through its medical centers and health teams. It dedicates best efforts to overcome the existing exceptional circumstances.
The SARC’s medical teams exert relentless efforts to raise awareness about the novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) and the medical centers are still working to provide the regular health services including examination, treatment and medicine.
