Baghdad, (ST) – The Iraqi security forces dismantled a terrorist cell in Mosul and arrested two of them before they escaped towards the Syrian border.
The Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate said in a statement to SANA that the Military Intelligence managed by a qualitative operation to penetrate and dismantle a terrorist cell in the Al-Buwairarea of the Tal Afar district of Mosul, consisting of 4 elements.
The statement indicated that the cell was led by the two terrorists, “Abu Jahnam and Abu Dharr”, who were working within the terrorist Nahawand Brigade, “Musa al-Ash’ath Brigade,” and they were planning to escape hours before their arrest. These two terrorists were wanted by the Iraqi judiciary.
