Nur Sultan (ST): Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev affirmed the readiness of his country to organize the forthcoming meeting of the Astana Formula regarding the settlement of the crisis in Syria.
A statement released by the media office of the Kazakh presidency said President Tokayev affirmed during a telephone call with the EU Council President Charles Michael Kazakhstan’s readiness to host the forthcoming Astana meeting concerning the settlement of the crisis in Syria.
Thirteen meetings have been held in the Kazakh capital, one of them in the Russian city of Sochi. All the meetings affirmed complete commitment to preserve Syria’s independence, unity and territorial integrity and the continuity of war against terrorist organizations.
