Slovakian party: Sanctions on Syria during Coronavirus outbreak is ‘The highest level of hypocrisy and sadism”
BRATISLAVA, (ST)_ Slovakian Communist party stands by Syria in its call for lifting the unilateral coercive sanctions being imposed on it with the aim of helping it in its fight against Coronavirus.
This is what the Party’s Deputy Head, Jalal Suleiman, said in an article written by him and published on the party’s website.
He described the continuity of imposing unilateral and coercive sanctions on Syria during the outbreak of Covid-19 as “the highest level of hypocrisy and sadism”. “These sanctions are illegal.”
“As the world searches for solutions to stop the spread of the Corona virus, the West continues to work in an inhuman way in its international relations towards Syria, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba and other countries. This complicates the way of fighting Coronavirus,” Suleiman said.
