Western coercive measures imposed on Syria are criminal, says Grospic

Prague, (ST) – Head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria, Stanislav Grospic affirmed that the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the United States and European Union countries on Syria are criminal and called for their immediate lifting.

In a statement to a SANA, Grospic pointed out that these measures represent a second war launched against Syria aiming at harming the Syrian people and the country’s economy. At the same time this second war obstructs the liberation of the rest of the areas under the control of terrorist organizations.

Grospic pointed out that the Syrian people are the essential in fighting against terrorism on behalf of the world, and the international community should be grateful to them for that.
