Israeli settlers cut more than 300 olive trees south of Bethlehem

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)-A number of Israeli settlers on Saturday attacked Palestinian lands to the south of Bethlehem city in the West Bank and cut hundreds of olive trees there.

The head of the Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Bethlehem Hassan Bureijia told WAFA new Agency that the settlers have cut some 300 olive trees in al-Qannoub area in order to capture the Palestinians’ lands and expand an Israeli settlement that had been built in that area.

Israeli settlers continuously enter Palestinian villages and towns and violently attack Palestinians and their properties under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces in order to displace the Palestinians and to seize and judaize their lands.
