Erekat: Occupation authorities intensify settlements in the Valley of Jordan

Saeb Erekat, secretary general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities are intensifying settlement operations in the Valley of Jordan in the occupied West Bank with the support of the American administration to implement the “deal of the century” which aims at to liquidating the Palestinian issue.

The Wafa news agency quoted Erekat as saying today that the intensification of settlements in the Valley of Jordan constitutes annexation, theft and settlement, noting that the occupation authorities have seized 95 percent of the Palestinian lands in the Valley of Jordan and are also seizing 94 percent of the water available in it .

Erekat explained that the occupation authorities, with the support of the American administration, established 4 settlement outposts in the Valley of Jordan last year and 110 settlement units to expand settlements on Palestinian land there.
