Local sources said that the mercenaries of Turkish regime encourage youths and teenagers to use drugs through selling the drugs at cheap prices.

The mercenaries also plant Hashish [known as Cannabis plant] in the lands , which are under their control.
Add to that, the sources asserted that the mercenaries in Ras al-Ayn city facilitate the smuggling of drugs through the Turkish border in order to be distributed by small groups among youths and teenagers.
One of Ras al-Ayn region’s residents said that the mercenaries were planting Cannabis in an area located to the west of Bab al-Mandeb in eastern Aleppo countryside before they started to plant it in Mdan village in his region.

“The drugs were being conveyed from eastern Aleppo countryside towards the countrysides of Raqqa and Hasaka by the Turkish regime’s mercenaries.  But today, the drugs are being conveyed to Ras Al-Ayn and then to Aleppo countryside through terrorist groups’ ringleaders, who quarrel over sharing the revenues of selling drugs,È the resident added.

The phenomena of drug promotion has emerged since the start of the crisis in Syria and the drugs have been used by terrorist groups.
