Kosachev calls for lifting the sanctions imposed on several countries to help them fight coronavirus (2)

Chairman of Russian Federation Council’s International Affairs Commit Konstantin Kosachev has called for lifting the economic sanctions imposed on several countries of the world in the light of the growing danger caused by the spread of coronavirus worldwide.

There is a need for an international agreement on completely lifting all sanctions imposed on countries, except those imposed by the international Security Council, said Kusachev on his facebook account.

He pointed out that the agreement on lifting the sanctions can be initiated by the BRICS countries with support from G20 and then this agreement can be approved by the Security Council itself.
