The Speaker of the Brazilian Parliament tests positive for Coronavirus

On March 18, the Speaker of the  Brazilian Senate( Parliament) Davi Alcolumbre  tested positive for Coronavirus.
Reuters quoted the Alcolumbre  office as saying in a statement that he did not show severe symptoms, but he felt unwell while in quarantine at his home, and that a preliminary analysis didn’t show  any infection with Coronavirus , but the result of the second analysis was positive.
It is noteworthy that Brazil, with a population of 210 million, recorded 234 cases of the virus without any deaths so far.
For his part, American Congressman Mario Diaz Ballart announced that he had confirmed his infection with the novel  Coronavirus after symptoms of the disease appeared.
Diaz Ballart, a Florida Republican, said in a statement that he had been subjected to self-quarantine in Washington since March 13 and had not returned to his Florida home because he did not want to endanger his ex-wife.

On March 18, The Washington Post newspaper revealed that the new Coronavirus continues to spread widely. It has been confirmed that there are infections in almost all US states.
