Iraq is filing a complaint with the United Nations and the Security Council about the recent US aggression against Iraqi forces ’sites

Baghdad,(ST)-The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs filed a complaint with the United Nations and the International Security Council about the American aggression on Karbala airport and a number of Iraqi army, police and popular mobilization units sites, stressing that this act  constitutes an act of aggression and a flagrant violation of Iraqi sovereignty.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Ahmed Al-Sahaf said, “The State Department sent a complaint with two identical letters to the United Nations and the Security Council regarding the American bombing of the Iraqi forces,” as it constitutes a hostile act and a flagrant violation of sovereignty and the agreed to  conditions for the presence of American forces in Iraq.

Five Iraqi soldiers and a civilian were killed and others were wounded in an American aggression that targeted the Karbala airport in Najaf province and a number of Iraqi army, police and popular mobilization units sites in other regions of the country.
