Some 11 thousand Tons of Golan Apples in Syria

QUNEITRAS,(ST)_ Total amounts of 11 thousand tons of  apples  were so far brought from the occupied Syrian Golan to the motherland Syria.

Quneitra Governor Dr. Malik Muhammad Ali who is also chairman of the apples receipt committee said on Sunday that   for the third month in a row, Golan’s apples produced by the steadfast Syrians in the occupied Golan is transported despite conditions in Syria and the region.

He pointed to efforts to commercialize apple produced in  occupied Golan in support of Syrian people steadfastness and help easing  their humanitarian suffering resulted from   occupation  forces  arbitrary practices,  expecting 18 thousand tons  of apples to be delivered during the coming weeks, as the largest  batch of   Golan apples marketed to Syria  since 2005.

In turn, Chairman of the  Golan Apples Marketing Committee  Saeed Farhat from  occupied Buqata village expressed  satisfaction of  Golan ‘s peasants and farmers over  delivering   their production which is the main source of  livelihood to the motherland.
