MOSCOW, (ST)- Russian researcher in the European Law Department at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry Nokolai Toborin  has stressed that President of the Turkish regime does not always act according to the law of sound mind and it doesn’t implement international agreements, particularly those relating to Syria.

In a statement to SANA reporter in Moscow, Toborin said that Russia is monitoring with great concern the developments in Syria, mainly in Idleb and neighboring areas, because these developments threaten of more escalation.

The Russian researcher added that Erdogan’s policy in Syria is a cause of concern to the Russian leadership and to the European Union, pointing out that several Turkish forces and parties reject Erdogan’s domestic and foreign policies.

The Turkish regime doesn’t implement the agreements it had signed with Russia on Syria and it continues to make provocative statements threatening that it will press ahead with using military force in Idleb, said the Russian expert. He pointed out that such a policy is a source of concern to Russia, particularly because Idleb is a Syrian land and no foreign country has the right to interfere in it.

She made it clear that the Turkish regime’s authorities are supporting the terrorist groups militarily through supplying them with weapons and military equipment, and this may lead to more deterioration in the situation of the entire region.
