Lebanon’s PM, Syria’s Ambassador in Beirut discuss enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries

BEIRUT, (ST)- Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab and Syria’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim on Monday discussed developments in the region and means of enhancing bilateral ties between Syria and Lebanon.

Abdul Karim congratulated Diab on forming the new Lebanese government.  

 He briefed Diab on the improving situation in Syria, and exchanged with him view points on several issues of common interest.

 Following the meeting, Abdul Karim described his meeting with Diab as very useful as it showed Diab’s keenness on boosting the relations between the two countries.
