Livestock wealth regains its active role in Eastern Ghouta

Eastern Ghouta has regained its active role as a main source of animal and plant food products after completing the rehabilitation of infrastructures destroyed by terrorism.      

In a statement to the SANA, Head of Agriculture Directorate in Damascus countryside , Eng. Irfan Ziada said that the directorate worked in cooperation with other public institutions agencies on meeting the requirements  of livestock wealth and care sector by reactivating agriculture in many areas and ensuring vaccines and medicines . He indicated the total number of herd of livestock is currently 47648 heads of sheep, cows and goats.

Ziada added that the directorate of agriculture succeeded in activating the agriculture Department in the Eastern Ghouta and the veterinary center in the countryside areas in Damascus.
