Karikin II: Syria will liberate all its territory from the terrorists

His Holiness Catholics of all Armenians Karikin II has affirmed the importance of the victories of the Syrian Arab Army over terrorism in Aleppo and Idlib.

During his meeting with the Syrian ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Muhammad Haj Ibrahim  at the headquarters of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the city of Echmiadzin on February 18, Karikin II expressed his confidence that Syria, with its leadership and army, will be able to liberate its entire territory from terrorists.

 

Karikin II said that he always prayed for the peace of Syria and its people, adding that he will visit Syria in the near future.

Karikin II expressed his thanks and appreciation for the decision of the People’s Assembly ( Syrian Parliament) to condemn the genocide of the Armenians at the hands of the Ottoman Empire.

For his part, Ambassador Haj Ibrahim expressed his thanks to His Holiness Catholics for his sincere feelings towards Syria and the Syrian people.

He expressed his gratitude to the Armenian government and people for their support for Syria.
