Bomb goes off in Damascus, leaving casualties

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ At least 5 civilians were wounded as an explosive device detonated in Bab Msallah garage in Damascus.

The explosive device was attached to a car and it detonated when the car arrived near the garage, according to a source at Damascus Police Command.

One of the wounded civilians, who were conveyed to Damascus hospital to receive treatment, was in a critical condition 

On February 10, 2002, a civilian was seriously wounded and left with burns when an explosive device detonated in a car parked behind al-Jalaa Park in Mazeeh area in Damascus.
