Iran forms a judicial file to follow up the assassination of Soleimani

Tehran, (ST) – The head of the Iranian judiciary, Sheikh Ibrahim Raisi, announced today the formation of a judicial file in the office of the Prosecutor in Tehran to follow up the assassination of Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani.

Raisi said in a statement today that the judges were tasked with following up the case in cooperation with international affairs in the judiciary and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country, explaining that this file will be decided in cooperation with senior officials of the judiciary in Iraq.

Raisi pointed out that the world’s hatred towards America and its practices is now more than ever.

A spokesman for the Iraqi Popular Mobilization announced the dawn of the third of last month, the death of Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the failqe al-Quds and deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, as a result of an American missile attack that targeted their car after they left Baghdad Airport.
