Syrian army advances towards Bab al-Hawa border crossing

ALEPPO, (ST)_The Syrian army has continued to carry out military operations against terrorist groups in the western countryside of Aleppo.

The army units entered the town of al-Shiekh Ali, which is located to the west of Damascus-Aleppo international road.

Yesterday, the Syrian army liberated Khan al-Assal and Rashidin districts in Aleppo province after intense strikes against terrorist groups’ hideouts there.

The army units completed the liberation of the eastern side of the international road that links Damascus and Aleppo, achieving a strategic victory over terrorism .

They recaptured the town of Kafer Noran, which is one of al-Nusra Front terrorists’ major strongholds on the road that leads to Atareb town, which is located on the road of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing between Syria and Turkey. .

The army warplanes struck the hideouts of terrorist groups in al-Atareb town where al-Nusra Front train their elements.
