Erdogan’s regime authorities issue arrest warrants for 28 people

Ankara, (ST) – The Turkish regime authorities issued arrest warrants for 28 people under the pretext of their association with the organization of the preacher Fathallah Gulen, whom Erdogan accuses of being behind the coup attempt that occurred in July 2016 and arrested a number of them.

The Anatolian Agency said that “the Istanbul Public Prosecution issued arrest warrants for 28 people after they used the Bayluk messaging application used by the Gülen organization.”

Turkish police launched raids and stalking operations in Istanbul, the capital, Ankara, the coastal province of Sparta, and the northwestern Polo city, resulting in the arrest of 14 people, while the search is still underway for the rest.

The Erdogan regime continues crackdowns against its opponents in various Turkish cities and regions, where over the past years more than 77,000 people have been arrested, in addition to the dismissal or suspension of work against about 150,000 workers in the government, the army, the judiciary, education and other institutions.
