Slovak Foreign Minister confirms support of international efforts to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria

Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak confirmed today his country’s support of international efforts to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria.

“Slovakia supports all the decisions supportive of preserving the territorial integrity of Syria, Lajcak said in a statement, stressing at the same time that the presence of terrorist organizations in Syria poses a great threat not only to the region but also to Europe.

In the same context, the former Slovak Prime Minister, Jan Chernogorski, highlighted,  in an article published on the Hlavny Zebrafi news website, the role played by Western countries in fueling the crisis in Syria since its beginning.

Chernogorsky underlined Russia’s active role in preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria and defeating the terrorist organization “ISIS”, noting that international relations are now moving in favor of Russia.
