Coronavirus death toll in China rises to 811
On February 9, Beijing announced that the new Coronavirus death toll has risen to 813 in China.
AFP News Agency quoted the National Health Commission of China as saying in its daily update of the death toll and injuries that the epidemic has infected 37,198 people to date in China, more than 2,600 new infections recorded during the past twenty-four hours.
The Commission noted that the past 24 hours recorded the death of 89 people, the vast majority of them in Hubei, where the virus first appeared in its capital, Wuhan, in late December.
On February 8, the Commission announced the number of deaths from infection with the Corona virus is 722 and more than 34,500 infected.
