Protests continue in Beirut to demand an improvement in the living situation

On February 8, the protest actions renewed in Beirut demanding an improvement in the living conditions and asking that all the corrupt should be held accountable.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that two demonstrations spread throughout the streets of Beirut.  Protesters gathered in front of the Palace of Justice and the Bank of Lebanon in Hamra Street and chanted anti-banking slogans. After that, the two demonstrations reached the entrances to the Lebanese Parliament accompanied by the security forces to keep security and stability.

The protesters announced in a statement that they would prevent the Members of Parliaments next Tuesday from reaching the parliament to attend its session.

Since October 17, Lebanon has witnessed sit-ins and demonstrations demanding accountability for the corrupt and anti-corruption.
