Syrian army continues to defeat terrorist groups in Aleppo and Idleb

ALEPPO, (ST)_The Syrian army recaptured two towns in the southern countryside of Aleppo after fierce clashes with al-Nusra Front terrorists.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the army units liberated today the towns of Zittan and Berneh after intensifying strikes on terrorists’ hideouts and clashing with terrorists.

The army units continued to pursue the terrorists, who ran away towards al-Iss town and targeted terrorist groups on the outskirts of Aleppo-Hama international road.

Add to that, the army units struck terrorist groups in the west of Aleppo city where many terrorists were killed and injured.

In the southwestern countryside of Aleppo, the army units repelled an attack carried out by al-Nusra Front terrorists on the axis of Khalsa-Zittan .

The terrorists suffered heavy losses.

Another advance was made by Syrian army units in the eastern countryside of Idleb where the towns of Mharim and Tal Kratin were liberated from terrorist groups.

On the other hand, the Syrian Alikhbaria TV channel reported that the US occupation forces set up a new base in Ghwiran district in Hasaka province and brought dozens of vehicles to it.
