Turkish regime training mercenaries in Turkey to send them to Libya: News reports reveal

MOSCOW, (ST)- New media reports on Wednesday revealed that the Turkish regime, led by Recep Tayyib Erdogan, has established camps in the Turkish territories to provide training to its mercenaries in preparation for sending them to Libya.

According to the reports, Erdogan’s regime has transported hundreds of mercenaries from the northern part of Syria to Libya with the funding and support of Qatar. The regime provided training to those mercenaries in special camps built near the Turkish city of Azmir before sending them to the Libyan city of Misrata where they joined the militias fighting the Libyan National Army.

The reports pointed out that Qatar has assisted in funding the transportation of the gunmen who were each paid $2000 to take part in armed activities in Libya.

50 trainers from the private Turkish security company “SADAT”, which has close links to Erdogan’s regime, in addition to other trainers from the Turkish army, were also sent to the Libyan capital.

On its part the Associate Press reported that two Libyan militia leaders have told the agency that Erdogan’s regime has transported more than 4000 foreign gunmen to Tripoli, including radical terrorists.

The agency said that it is well known that the Turkish-backed armed groups in the north of Syria comprise gunmen who have fought for al-Qaeda and Daesh terrorist organizations and for other armed groups that have committed horrible crimes against civilians in Syria.
