The Leader of the Turkish Republican People’s Party (CHP)’s Kemal Kilicdaroglu has called on the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to stop his hostile policies toward Syria and cut ties with terrorists.
“Erdogan did not honor his pledges within the framework of the Sochi Agreements with Russia,” Kilicdaroglu said.
“In Idlib there are thousands of ‘Jabhat al-Nusra’ terrorists. Everyone asks who is giving the weapons to the terrorists and why Turkey interferes in the issue as long as Idlib is a Syrian territory,” Kilicdaroglu said during the meeting of his party’s parliamentary bloc on February 4.
On January 31, the Kremlin confirmed Russia’s commitment to all its obligations under the Sochi Agreement on the de-escalation zone in Idlib and rejected the Turkish regime’s claims in this regard.
