Homs: Terrorists target gas factories and oil refinery

Homs (ST): Al-Rayyan and Ebla gas factories, the gas factory to the south of the Middle Zone and Homs Refinery were targeted by terrorist mortar bombs at dawn today causing huge material damage.

Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Ali Ghanem said that the terrorists and their supporters resumed their attacks against the oil sector and its facilities at dawn today. He added that fire fighters teams in cooperation with civil defence members managed to put out the fire resulting from the terrorist attack.

Director General of the Syrian Gas Company Ghassan Tarraf said that the damage was evaluated and the maintenance workshops have started repairing it.
