Larijani renews Iran’s rejection of Deal of the Century

The Speaker of Iran’s Islamic Shura Council(parliament) Ali Larijani has renewed his country’s rejection the so-called ‘Deal of the Century’ announced by US President Donald Trump last week.

“ Iran has stood in the face of the deal of the century from the beginning, while some countries have yielded to them,” Iranian Mehr News Agency quoted Larijani as saying on February 2.

Larijani said that some regimes in the region agreed to the deal and guaranteed to pay the financial obligations resulting from it, and this constitutes a ‘scandal for these regimes.’

Larijani stressed that this deal is the worst among the plans that target the Palestinian issue.
