Bomb, left by terrorists, wounds 4 children in Homs

Homs, (ST) – Four children were injured due to a hand grenade explosion from the terrorist groups in the northern Homs countryside.

SANA correspondent stated that a hand grenade from the remnants of terrorist groups buried under the soil exploded in the city of Rastan in the northern countryside, causing the injury of 4 children who were then transferred to the National Hospital of Hama.

A medical source at the National Hospital of Hama told a SANA reporter that two children, two brothers, suffered varying injuries in their eyes as a result of flying shrapnel from the explosion of the bomb, while the other two children were injured in various places in their body.

The source pointed out that the health status of the four children is now stable after providing first aid and medical measures for them.

The terrorist organizations systematically planted large quantities of explosive devices and mines in homes, buildings, streets, squares and agricultural lands before their liberation by the Syrian Arab Army with the intention of causing more civilian casualties and spreading terror among the displaced people returning to their villages and towns.
