Syrian army repels terrorist groups’ attack on the west of Aleppo city, advances towards the southeast of the city

ALEPPO, (ST)_ Syrian army units repelled terrorist groups’ attack on the axis of Jameyet al-Zahraa district in Aleppo city and struck al-Nusra Front terrorists and their allied groups on the axis of khan Touman area and Khaldeyeh town in Aleppo countryside.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), army units repelled this afternoon an attack launched al-Nusra Front terrorists, who were driving 4 car bombs towards the residential district of Jameyet al-Zahraaa to the west of Aleppo city.

The army units destroyed all the car bombs before reaching their destination and military positions in the said district, the agency added, indicating that the army units immediately struck the terrorist groups’ movements along the axis of Jameyet al-Zahraa after destroying the car bombs. 

In Aleppo countryside, the army units continued to advance on the axis of Khan Touman .

Yesterday, the army units repelled terrorist groups’ attack on military positions on the axis of Khan Touman and killed and injured the terrorist attackers.

Over the past few days, the army units liberated 6 areas in Aleppo countryside.
