Russia renewed adherence today to all its commitments according to the Sochi agreement related to the de-escalation zone in Idleb, refuting the allegations made by President of the Turkish regime in this regard.
Kremlin spokesman Demitry Peskov said in a press statement that Russia completely abides by its commitments according to the Sochi agreement related to Idleb, noting that the situation there is still very bad because of the existence of a large number of terrorists who recurrently perpetrate terrorist attacks against Syrian Army positions and against Hmeimem base in Lattakia Countryside, and this is a source of deep concern to Russia.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova affirmed Russia’s commitment to settling the crisis in Syria in the framework of Astana talks and Sochi Agreement.
