Scores of Palestinians wounded in demonstrations protesting against the deal of the century
Scores of Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire when the occupation troops tried to repress the massive demonstrations that were staged in several cities in the West Bank condemning the so-called the Deal of the Century.
Palestinian News Agency said that Israeli soldiers used live ammunition and gas bombs to disperse the demonstrators in Qalqilya, and al-Aghwar causing the injury of scores.
The towns of the West Bank and Gaza Strip witnessed huge protests in rejection of the so-called Deal of the Century which aims to liquidate the Palestine question.
The participants raised slogans denouncing the so-called deal of the century and the US blatant bias towards Israel. They also called for the unity of the Palestinian rank and the continuity of resistance until the achievement of all the Palestinian legitimate rights, foremost of which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and the return of the Palestinian refugees to their indigenous homeland.
Earlier, the activities of the Day of Anger started in huge demonstrations that started after morning prayers in al-Aqsa Mosque and al-Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron.
At least 10 Palestinians were injured and three others arrested when the occupation troops attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque after morning prayers.
In Yemen too,the city of S’ada witnessed a huge demonstration condemning the notorious deal and calling for terminating all forms of normalization of relations with Israel.
The participants raised Palestinian and Yemeni flags and shouted slogans denouncing the US policies which aim at imposing hegemony on the region.
