The People’s Assembly affirmed its rejection of the US President’s declaration about the so-called Deal of Century which unveils the role played by the US as a strategic ally of the Zionist entity and an executor of its aggressive plans which aim to liquidate the Palestine question.
In a statement, the Assembly stressed that the declaration reflects the colonialist relationship linking the two sides which aim to subjugate the Arab nation, steal its resources and advocate division, noting that the so-called deal of the century is an extension of the Balfour Declaration, Camp David Accords, and Oslo Agreement.
The statement added that the Conspiracy of the Century came in response to the great victories realized by the resistance axis against terrorism and its supporters.
The statement stressed that the US declaration disregarded all the UN resolutions pertaining to the Palestine question which affirm the necessity of ending Israeli occupation of the Arab territories and guaranteeing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people including the right of return and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
