The Syrian state has the right to eliminate terrorism from its territories, say Turkish politician

Ankara, (ST) – Aran Erdam, member of the Central Committee of the Turkish Republican People’s Party, stressed that the Syrian state has the right to eliminate terrorists from its territories and restore security and stability to all its regions.

In an interview with Channel 1 TV, Ardam denounced the reaction of the Turkish regime’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and some officials in his regime to the victories that the Syrian Arab Army achieved against the terrorist organizations in Idlib.  He said “What is Turkey’s relationship to Idlib and why does Ankara object to the Syrian army’s liberation of Syrian cities, towns and villages? Terrorists have been occupying it for years. ”

“If Erdogan was so in solidarity with the terrorists from the Al-Nusra Front organization located in Idlib and its surroundings, he could bring them to Turkey and help them as he wishes from common ideological premises,” Erdem added.

He stressed that the Turkish regime has no right to interfere anywhere in Syria, and it must stop its support for all terrorist organizations.

On the other hand, about US President Donald Trump’s announcement of what is called the “Deal of the Century”, Erdem said, “Syria, Iran, Hezbollah and the Palestinian national forces that have failed all the imperialist and Zionist designs so far, are able to thwart this deal now.”
