Director of Telesur News expresses confidence in Syria’s victory in its war against terrorism

Director of the Telesur News network in Latin America, Patricia Vegas, confirmed today her confidence that Syria will overcome the crisis it is going through and will win its fight against terrorism, highlighting the steadfastness demonstrated by the Syrian people in the face of this terrorism and its supporters.

During her meeting with the Syrian Ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Mia, who visited the new headquarters of the channel after its opening on Tuesday in the Cuban capital, Havana, Vegas expressed her appreciation for the important role that the Syrian media played since the beginning of the terrorist war in facing the disinformation campaigns practiced by the Western media. She stressed that the Telesur Network will continue to defend Syria and all just causes in the world.

For his part, Ambassador Mia affirmed the Syrian media’s rejection and condemnation of the threatening campaign and pressures that the Telesur Network is passing through, indicating that it will remain as its founder, the late leader Hugo Chavez wanted ,to be as a voice for militant peoples who adhere to their principles, values and struggle against global imperialism.

Mia expressed his appreciation for the important role that this network plays in conveying the truth about the terrorist war that Syria is exposed to for almost 9 years and highlighting the terrorist crimes that history has never witnessed.
