Erekat: Palestine leadership rejects ‘deal of the century’

Occupied Quds, (ST) – The secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Saeb Erekat, stressed that the “Deal of the Century” is rejected, adding that the Palestinians will not accept anything less than an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders.

Wafa News Agency quoted Erekat as saying Palestinians would set out to fail “the deal of the century” with their steadfastness and adherence to their land, stressing the need for the international community to stand in the face of US and Israeli plans to liquidate the Palestinian issue.

Erekat pointed out that work continues with the Security Council, the United Nations General Assembly, the Human Rights Council, the International Court of Justice and the Criminal Court to shoulder their responsibilities towards those who want to destroy international law and international legitimacy.
