“Washington’s Long War on Syria” … A book by a Canadian Researcher

Washington’s long war on Syria”, by Stephen Gowans, is probably the most important book on   the terrorist war in Syria,   between 2011 and 2016, which is still ongoing.

The book tells the true story of the Syrian people and their struggle for independence and development as well as truths that are so deeply hidden in western countries..

Stephen Gowans paints a very clear portrait of   the forces that tried to interfere in Syria and documents the hostile extensive efforts to dominate it   since the end of the Second World War…

The book, which was translated into Arabic by Dr. Ghayath Barakat and issued by the Syrian General Organization of   books, was written in 2016, at a time when the terrorist organization ISIS, supported by the USA and some Arab countries, was wreaking havoc in Iraq and Syria.

The author Gowans reviewed in his book   political Islam organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood and its role in the war on Syria and refuting American allegations of moderate factions in terrorist organizations.

The book focuses on the attempts of the American administrations to topple the Syrian state, which have taken a systematic form since 2001, as   the values of this country in Arab unity and liberating them from foreign domination are inconsistent with the interests of the American Money Market Fund.

The author  shed light  on the American Money Market Fund, Wall Street, which controls the media in the United States to direct public opinion, designate top policy-making positions  in America, finance election campaigns of  politicians, and influence   Congress in addition to  foreign relations  and business.

It is noteworthy that the author of the book, who is from Canada, is a researcher and analyst of foreign policy and concentrates   in his articles and research on monitoring the risks  of Western intervention in the region.

Dr. Ghayath Barakat holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Texas in the United States of America and published a collection of research and studies and participated in a number of scientific and political conferences
